Tegan vs. Hard Objects

You cannot tell from this picture but that bruise is a giant goose egg on top of a giant goose egg. Poor little guy missed a little step in my parent's backyard and smacked his head on the cement. Not even a week later he fell off the couch and hit the same spot on the hardwood floor. He is normally very good at getting off the couch just fine but still fell. Poor little guy. He was running around too quickly to catch a good angle.

Tegan vs. the Whoopie Cushion

Easton is 3!

Don't mind the lame "wrapping paper". Easton didn't care!

Very happy boy with his presents!

Easton fighting the Pirate! It was so nice of Grandma to dress as a Pirate briefly for the party! Thank you to Great Grandma for the pirate pool float.

Arrgghhh Matey!

Brennen and Andrew checking out their loot.

Captain Tegan at the helm.

Easton loved his Kit Kat cake. I figured he never eats the cake part so it is covered in stuff he loves.

The lucky boy got so many fun new toys.

Of course the kids ate all of the candy and left all of the yummy cake behind.

The kids found a buried treasure.

Easton was younger than the other kids and not quite as quick to understand what they were doing. I had to swipe some treasure for him!

Easton loved Pin the Patch on the Pirate though.

In fact he kept playing after the kids left.

Ice skating for his actual birthday.

He is only smiling because he is off that scary ice!

I cannot believe my little boy is 3! Easton as always is quite the chatter box. His mouth never stops moving... EVER! Sometimes the conversations he has with us just amaze me. He is becoming very imaginative. He loves to pretend and is just getting into dress-up. Easton loves to help cooking. Well, he mainly likes to help bake. He is also quite the gardener. He checks the garden every morning and picks the tomatoes when they are ready. Although he loves to pick kale and carrots there is no way you can talk him into trying either! I am not sure who these people are that say kids will eat veggies if they help grow and cook them. Nope! Not Easton! Easton is also becoming quite the little athlete. Soccer and baseball seem to be his favorites. He is also a new man in the pool compared to last year. I am happy to say he is actually IN the water rather than playing around it. We are still trying to get him to understand he needs to wear a bathing suit. He would rather be naked! I cannot believe how much he has grown up in the past few months. Don't get me wrong. He is still a stubborn 3 year old with a temper but he is much more fun lately! We will see if I still feel the same way after our trip!
